Isn't this usually the first blog post? Well, not today. Today, this is going to be like the last five minutes of Color Splash or Divine Design--the reveal.

I thought of a million ways to do this...and came up with nothing good.

I'm a newlywed. I love to swing dance. I'm a nanny. I love my family. I try to take pictures daily...I don't succeed. And I'm desperately trying to figure out life.

This is probably my last post here. But I do plan on keeping up with all of you through In Pursuit :)

Musing

Jane: I'm thinking about quitting my anonymous blog.
Husband: Oh really? Why?
Jane: Well...I'm just not as interesting as I thought I was


I had big plans on blogging about sex and fights and crazy things that you simply just don't talk about. It's been less than a month and I've realized that I don't really have anything so crazy that I can't blog about it in the place where EVERYONE can read.


But suddenly, Musings has become a chore. Sometimes, I move to make a post and then think, wait. This can just go in my regular blog. Sometimes, I'm blogging on Musings, just to keep readers instead of blogging to blog.


And that's not really the point, is it?


So. I'm thinking about closing up shop here at Musings. The thing is...I really like you guys! I don't want to lose you. So I will be introducing all you ladies to the real me.


I'll start with this...my name isn't Jane. My name is Tiffany.


Because I'm mean and I want to keep you on your toes, I'm going to leave you hanging. More to come ;)

The Fabulous Sugar Doll Blogger Award

A crazy thing just happened. Chloë, a newlywed such as myself, who blogs over at tryin' to throw my arms around the world gave me my very first blogger award! I feel so special.

10 things about me, in no particular order:

1) I love learning but I hate the work that comes with getting educated.

2) I've been married for three months and I love it! I also wish I had understood that when people told me that marriage would be hard, that they meant it! It's really really hard. But when it's good, it's so so good.

3) My husband and I don't get to wake up together often, but when we do, it's so nice. And I love to smack his butt when he finally gets out of bed.

4) I love makeup. I love to watch makeup tutorials and reviews. I love all the different kinds of makeup and all the different colors. I love to buy makeup. But I rarely wear makeup. Luckily, I'm a drugstore girl, so it's not too much money wasted.

5) I am in search of the perfect espadrille. I have been on this search since last spring. My boss currently owns two perfect pairs of espadrilles but I can't seem to find the ones I want when I shop.

6) I am also in search of the perfect denim skirt. This skirt has been around since last Mother's Day when my SIL wore a super cute skirt.

7) One of my favorite pastimes with my husband is laughing. Laughing together is a real sign that we're in the midst of a good streak. He's in a good mood so he says goofy stuff, and I'm in a good mood so I giggle at all of it. I love it.

8) I like my ex-boyfriend's parents better than I like my new in-laws. If I could pick any in-laws in the whole world, I would have picked my ex-boyfriend's parents. They were so wonderful that I could have called them "mom" and "dad." (And I am not the type to call just anyone those names.) But I'm SO glad they're not my in-laws because my husband is the perfect husband for me.

9) I got all this sexy lingerie at a shower before my wedding...and I hardly ever wear it. Even on my honeymoon! Because, what was I supposed to do? Oh, wait, let me put on a lacy nightie so you can take it right off!

10) I love trivia! Jeopardy. Cash Cab. Trivial Pursuit. I like to think it keeps my brain fresh. My husband and I watch Jeopardy together almost every night and, yes, we answer out loud. We're pretty good. Even when we're clueless, though, our random guesses are sometimes spot on.

weekend update

Hello ladies!

I'm working hard at finishing my school work so that I can get back to blogging. But right now, the husband and I are mid-way through a road trip. We're headed to his hometown for Thanksgiving and have holed up in a hotel for the night.

I love this hotel. It's nothing fancy, just a Comfort Suites. But there is a KING SIZED BED. Hurrah. I'm not even gonna pretend like we haven't been in the bed since we got here two hours ago. We ate dinner in bed; watched TV in bed; had a monday-night-relationship-check-up-talk in bed; and, well, other things that might be done in beds.

What I'm really looking forward to is sleeping. With all that space!

Before I get back to my homework, I'm going to utilize a little bit of the time to catch up with you!
